The Land Use Office regulates land development in Torrington and reviews building and development proposals. The Department provides support and is staff liaison to the Planning and Zoning Commission, Architectural Review Committee, Inland Wetlands Commission, Conservation Commission, Flood and Erosion Control Board and Zoning Board of Appeals.
