The Building Department is responsible for the following:
Reviewing proposed building plans to insure compliance with the building codes and approve or reject applications for building construction to assure conformity with approved plans.
Investigate building code complaints and order compliance
Issue permits for building, electrical, heating, plumbing, roofing, demolition, air-conditioning, sidewalks and signs.
